Decision Making Lesson Plans

Decision making is so important that following these lesson plans can mean hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions and untold personal happiness for you.

Start a file on decision making.
Make a folder for each stage of SM-14 and folders for other subjects that interest you.

Prepare a decision making notebook.
Download the PDF file of the 48-page booklet and put it in a notebook. You can consult it every time you begin work on a complex decision or study decision making.

Make extra copies of the Guide Form on pages 47 and 48. Use them when making decisions. They are for the full method or the short method.

Memorize the four basic features of decision making.
These are outlined on page 4 of my booklet.

Intuitive decision making – page 5.
Spend time studying this page, as most decisions you make are intuitive ones.

Become familiar with the short model of SM-14 (page 6).
To use it effectively, you must first learn the complete model of SM-14.

Full model for complex decision making.
Read page 7 for an introduction to the full model of complex decision making (SM-14). Then go on and study and use SM-14 as described on pages 10 to 31 to decide practice or actual decisions. There is a lot to learn here but just keep on and use this information on all your complex decisions.

Specific individual “sciences” of feature of decision making.
Page 8 explains these. Investigate those that apply specifically to the area of decision making you are interested in. Many researchers have spent their careers specializing in certain of these “sciences.”

Briefs providing additional information on decision making.
You will find these on pages 38 to 46 of the booklet. There are additional briefs as listed on the home page. More will be added in the months to come. Check this site often.
